The ACCUPRO 12181579 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, it delivers consistent cutting performance in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) mill diameter pairs with a 3/16 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, making it well suited to tight-tolerance slotting, profiling, and plunge cuts. A TiCN coating improves surface hardness and wear resistance. With a 30-degree helix angle and right-hand spiral flute geometry, chip evacuation stays efficient during continuous cuts. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is configured as a stub-length, single-end tool with an overall length of 1.5 inches. The stub length profile reduces deflection and improves rigidity in applications where depth of cut is shallow and surface finish is critical. Centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole, adding flexibility to milling routines. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional CNC machining centers and manual mills. It is appropriate for finishing passes and light slotting in steel, stainless, aluminum, and similar workpiece materials.
Designed as a standard shank solid carbide square end mill compatible with 1/8 inch collets and tool holders on conventional CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and similar machine tools requiring a stub-length two-flute end mill.
Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator using a compatible 1/8 inch collet or end mill holder torqued to the machine tool manufacturer's specification. Ensure the spindle and machine are fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Inspect the collet and holder for runout before securing the shank to maintain diameter tolerance. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
