The ACCUPRO 12181569 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.0591 inch (1.50 mm) mill diameter and a 0.1181 inch (3.00 mm) length of cut, this stub-length tool is built for short-reach, high-accuracy work in tight geometries. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and edge retention suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Two spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a smooth cutting action. The centercutting geometry allows for plunge entry directly into the workpiece. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, profile milling, and plunge cutting operations in precision machining environments, including job shops, tool rooms, and production floor applications. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is the standard orientation compatible with conventional milling spindles. The stub length overall length of 38.00 mm (approximately 1.496 inches) provides rigidity and reduces deflection, making it well-suited for fine detail work at small diameters where runout and flex are critical concerns.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit tooling for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines using a 3.00 mm shank diameter collet or tool holder.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard tooling change procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully powered down and the machine is locked out before changing tooling. Verify collet size matches the 3.00 mm shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a cut. Consult the machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting speeds and feeds for small-diameter carbide tooling.
