The ACCUPRO 12181536 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal fabrication and machining environments. It features a 3/4-inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 0.045-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding applications. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a micrograin carbide substrate and bright/uncoated finish, this end mill is suited for dry cutting or use with cutting fluid. It is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals on CNC mills and manual milling machines.
This end mill is appropriate for use in general-purpose machining of ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a corner radius profile is required to blend walls and floors. The single-end, center-cutting design allows plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling. A 3/4-inch shank diameter provides rigid tool holding in standard ER or side-lock collet chucks. The 4-inch overall length accommodates moderate-depth setups without excessive overhang. Typical applications include mold and die work, fixture plates, and precision part profiling.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner radius end mill suitable for standard 3/4-inch diameter tool holders on CNC and manual milling machines.
This tool should be installed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines for tool holding and runout tolerances. Power down and lock out the spindle before installing or removing the end mill. Ensure the shank is fully seated and clamped to the minimum engagement depth recommended by the holder manufacturer to prevent pullout. Verify spindle runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
