The ACCUPRO 12181521 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in milling operations. With a 0.6299-inch (16.00 mm) cutting diameter and a 1.2598-inch (32.00 mm) length of cut, this tool handles moderate-depth slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in a single-end configuration. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces across a range of workpiece materials. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for consistent performance in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. This tool is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators in job shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where a right-hand cut, right-hand spiral flute tool is required. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry into the workpiece, expanding its use to ramp milling and pocket entry without a pre-drilled start hole. The regular-length body keeps the tool rigid during full-depth passes. It is appropriate for use in general-purpose milling of steel, aluminum, cast iron, and similar materials where an uncoated micrograin carbide tool is the specified choice.
Designed as a standard single-end square end mill with a 0.6299-inch (16.00 mm) shank diameter, compatible with milling machine collets, end mill holders, and toolholders accepting that shank size.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator with the spindle fully stopped and machine power isolated before tooling changes. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the cut. Never exceed the tool manufacturer recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
