The ACCUPRO 12181421 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 3/8 inch diameter with a 0.0900 inch corner radius and a 7/8 inch length of cut, making it well suited for profiling, slotting, and contouring operations where corner edge protection and surface finish quality matter. The micrograin carbide substrate provides rigidity and wear resistance, while the TiCN coating improves hardness and reduces friction at the cutting edge. With a 2-flute geometry and right-hand spiral flute design, this end mill clears chips efficiently and supports centercutting capability for plunge entry. Licensed machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments install and run this tool.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual mills working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, alloy steels, and similar materials where TiCN coating provides a performance advantage. The 2-flute configuration leaves adequate chip clearance for moderate feed rates and is appropriate for general-purpose profiling and pocket milling. The single-end design is standard for this tool class. The 3/8 inch shank diameter fits common ER collet chucks and end mill holders found in most machining setups.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for 3/8 inch shank end mill holders and ER collet chucks accepting a 3/8 inch shank corner radius end mill in standard CNC machining center and manual milling applications.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing any tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or end mill holder to the recommended engagement depth before torquing the retention nut. Inspect the shank and collet bore for chips or damage before each installation to prevent runout and premature tool wear.
