The ACCUPRO 12181356 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 0.2756-inch (7.00 mm) mill diameter and a 0.748-inch (19.00 mm) length of cut, this tool delivers accurate material removal in a compact profile. The 2-flute, 40-degree helix spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. The micrograin carbide substrate provides hardness and wear resistance suited to ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This is a single-end, uncoated tool in the regular length category, intended for use by machinists and tooling professionals in CNC and manual milling operations.
This end mill is used in general-purpose milling applications including slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling on a range of workpiece materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece surface, expanding the range of operations possible in a single setup. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute orientation are standard for conventional milling machine spindles. Typical install environments include job shops, production machining cells, and maintenance machining operations where a small-diameter solid carbide tool is required for detail work or tight-tolerance features.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide end mill for standard milling machine and CNC machining center spindles accepting an 8.00 mm (approximately 0.315-inch) shank diameter.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Verify that the collet or end mill holder is clean and within tolerance for the 8.00 mm shank before seating the tool. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut for the tool diameter, and inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine manufacturer guidelines for tooling installation.
