The ACCUPRO 12181339 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal fabrication, tool and die, and general machining applications. With a 1/4 inch mill diameter and a 0.015 inch corner radius, it produces blended, radiused edges that reduce stress concentration in finished workpieces. The TiCN coating provides increased surface hardness and lubricity, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This single-end, centercutting tool is suited for plunge cuts, slots, and contour work on CNC mills and manual machining centers.
This end mill is intended for use in precision machining environments including mold making, aerospace component work, and general metalworking. The 3/4 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length make it well suited for shallow-to-medium depth pocketing and profiling operations. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC spindle setups. The 1/4 inch shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders common in job shop and production environments. Micrograin carbide substrate supports elevated feed rates and extended run times compared to standard carbide grades.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct fitment tool for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 1/4 inch shank via standard ER collet, end mill holder, or equivalent toolholding system.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Confirm proper collet or holder size matches the 1/4 inch shank before tightening. Inspect the corner radius and cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be dropped or struck against hard surfaces.
