The ACCUPRO 12181269 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 1/8 inch cutting diameter and a 0.02 inch corner radius, this end mill produces smooth, radiused edges while reducing stress concentrations in machined features. The 2-flute, single-end design with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting applications. This tool is suited for machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where edge quality and dimensional control are critical.
This end mill is well suited for CNC milling operations in job shops, production machining, and tool-and-die environments. The 1/2 inch length of cut (LOC) and 1-1/2 inch overall length (OAL) make it practical for slot milling, profiling, and pocketing in tight-tolerance workpieces. The centercutting capability allows it to plunge directly into material, expanding its versatility on vertical machining centers and CNC routers running ferrous alloys, stainless steel, and hardened materials where AlTiN coating performance is advantageous.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct substitute for 1/8 inch shank corner radius end mills used in standard CNC milling chucks, collet systems, and end mill holders accepting a 1/8 inch shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 1/8 inch shank fully and evenly in the collet or tool holder to the recommended engagement depth per the holder manufacturer before tightening. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation to protect both the tool and the workpiece from premature wear or dimensional error.
