The ACCUPRO 12181263 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 1/8 inch diameter with a 0.02 inch corner radius and a 2-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 40-degree helix angle. The TiCN coating improves wear resistance and surface hardness, extending tool life in harder workpiece materials. With a 1/2 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length, this single-end centercutting tool is well suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing passes where a controlled corner radius is required. It is used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, toolrooms, and production environments.
This end mill is appropriate for use on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines in both light production and prototype work. The micrograin carbide substrate supports tight tolerances, with a mill diameter tolerance of +0.000000 to -0.002500 inches and a shank diameter tolerance of -0.0001 to -0.0004 inches. The 0.02 inch corner radius with a tolerance of 0.00150 inches makes it suitable for applications requiring a consistent, repeatable edge blend on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 1/8 inch shank diameter matches the cutter diameter for straightforward collet or end mill holder setup.
Designed as a standard single-end corner radius end mill with a 1/8 inch shank diameter, compatible with 1/8 inch collets, collet chucks, and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Secure the 1/8 inch shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for chips or wear before each use, and follow shop-specific speeds and feeds guidelines for TiCN-coated solid carbide tooling on the intended workpiece material.
