The ACCUPRO 12180360 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to produce consistent radius profiles on workpiece edges in precision machining applications. This double-end tool features a 0.01 inch corner radius and a 3/16 inch mill diameter, with 4 right-hand flutes that provide smooth chip evacuation and a clean finish pass. The uncoated bright finish makes it suitable for use on a wide range of materials where coating interaction is a concern. At 2 inches overall length with a 3/16 inch shank diameter, this tool fits standard collet and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Installation and operation are handled by machinists and tooling specialists in production and job shop environments.
This corner rounding end mill is well-suited for edge-breaking and radius profiling on ferrous and non-ferrous materials in both production runs and prototype work. The double-end design extends tool life by providing two usable cutting ends, reducing tooling cost per part. It is commonly used in CNC vertical machining centers and manual knee mills where tight radius tolerances are required on part edges. The 0.162 inch tip diameter allows access to tight geometries while maintaining rigidity at this tool diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use corner rounding end mill for standard 3/16 inch collet and end mill holder setups in CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 3/16 inch shank fully and evenly in a clean, undamaged collet or end mill holder and torque the retention mechanism per the machine and holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect both cutting ends for chips or wear before use, and select the appropriate spindle speed and feed rate for the workpiece material following standard machining practice.
