The ACCUPRO 12180345 is a solid carbide corner rounding end mill designed to machine precise convex radii on workpiece edges. With a 0.109 inch radius, a 5/16 inch mill diameter, and a double-end configuration, this tool delivers two usable ends per unit — extending tool life and reducing changeover frequency on the shop floor. The uncoated bright finish is suited to ferrous and non-ferrous materials where coating compatibility or cost constraints are a factor. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this end mill in CNC machining centers and manual mills to produce consistent, smooth corner profiles without secondary deburring operations.
This end mill is appropriate for edge-profiling operations in general machining, mold and die work, and precision part manufacturing where controlled corner radii are required by print. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle rotation on vertical machining centers. With a 0.094 inch tip diameter and two flutes, it is suited for light to moderate material removal on finished or near-finished surfaces. Typical users include CNC machinists, tool makers, and job shop operators working in production or prototype environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling selection for CNC vertical machining centers and manual mills using 5/16 inch collets or end mill holders requiring a corner rounding profile end mill.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following standard toolholding procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before inserting or removing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the recommended engagement depth per the toolholder manufacturer guidelines. Verify runout with a dial indicator before cutting to avoid premature edge wear or chipping on a solid carbide tool.
