It features three spiral flutes ground to a 40-degree helix angle and is finished with an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating that improves heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting speeds. Micrograin carbide construction contributes to edge sharpness and wear resistance. This end mill is centercutting, allowing plunge entry directly into a workpiece.
