The ACCUPRO 12179030 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. It measures 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) in cutting diameter with a 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) length of cut, a 1/8 inch shank diameter, and a 1-1/2 inch overall length. The four-flute, right-hand spiral design runs at a 30-degree helix angle and features an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) coating for extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and edge retention needed for close-tolerance work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The centercutting geometry allows plunge milling as well as conventional peripheral cuts.

This end mill is suited for die and mold work, fixture machining, and finish profiling on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The regular-length configuration keeps deflection low in tight-clearance slots and pockets.
