It features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.03 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the base of milled pockets and profiles. Five flutes and a 40-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and a smooth finish at higher feed rates. The AlTiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. This tool is centercutting and single-end, making it suitable for plunge entry and slot milling in CNC machining centers.
