The ACCUPRO 12178570 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter and 4 spiral flutes, it delivers clean, accurate cuts in tight geometries. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited for demanding materials. An nACRo coating reduces friction and extends tool life in high-speed cutting environments. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the centercutting design allows plunge milling. This tool is installed and operated by machinists, CNC programmers, and tool-and-die professionals.
This end mill is suited for light-duty profiling, slotting, and contouring in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a small-diameter tool is required. The 3/16 inch length of cut (LOC) and 1-1/2 inch overall length (OAL) make it appropriate for shallow-depth passes in precision components, mold work, and prototype machining. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and tool holders common in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Due to the small cutting diameter, avoid excessive radial engagement or feed rates that could cause tool deflection or breakage.
