The ACCUPRO 12177361 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. With a 4 mm mill diameter, a 4 mm length of cut, and a 0.25 mm corner radius, it produces smooth, radiused transitions at the base of milled features while reducing stress concentrations in the workpiece. The micrograin carbide substrate delivers hardness and edge retention suited to demanding cutting conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the bright/uncoated finish makes this tool a practical choice for general-purpose milling where coating is not required. Machinists and CNC operators install this tool in machining centers and milling machines.
This end mill is suited for light-to-medium milling work in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a fine corner radius is required. The 6 mm shank diameter fits standard ER and milling chucks commonly found in CNC machining centers. An extended reach of 30 mm allows access to deeper pockets and stepped features without sacrificing rigidity. Designed as a direct-fit replacement for standard 6 mm shank corner radius end mills used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with ER collet chucks or milling chuck toolholders.
Installation of this end mill is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing the tool from the toolholder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the recommended insertion depth in the collet or chuck and torque the retention nut to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning the first cut, particularly in finishing or tight-tolerance applications.
