The ACCUPRO 12177327 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in metal cutting and machining applications. It features a 1 mm cutting diameter with a 0.1 mm corner radius, a 1 mm length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle. The micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance suited to demanding cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright uncoated finish makes it a practical choice for applications where coating is not required or where lubricant compatibility is a priority. This is a single-end, centercutting tool capable of plunge entry. It is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments.
This end mill is suited for fine detail work, slotting, profiling, and contouring operations where a small-diameter tool with a controlled corner radius is required. The extended reach geometry, with a 5 mm reach length and 6 mm shank diameter, allows access to deeper features while maintaining shank rigidity. Right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting orientation are standard for conventional CNC milling setups. The 57 mm overall length supports use in standard toolholders and collet chucks commonly found on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tooling for CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 6 mm shank diameter in standard collet or toolholder systems.
This tool is installed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the 6 mm shank securely in a compatible collet or end mill holder, torquing to the toolholder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, as small-diameter carbide tools are sensitive to excessive runout and may fracture under lateral load.
