The ACCUPRO 12177207 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and hard material applications. With a 0.1969-inch (5 mm) mill diameter and a 0.3937-inch (10 mm) length of cut, this tool removes material cleanly in tight-tolerance work. The 4-flute, spiral-flute geometry with a 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Micrograin carbide construction provides rigidity and edge retention at the cutting zone. The extended reach configuration, with a 60 mm reach length, allows access to deeper features without sacrificing stability. This is a right-hand cut, right-hand flute tool with a centercutting design, allowing direct plunge entry.
This end mill is suited for finish milling, slotting, and profiling in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The long-length configuration makes it appropriate for mold and die work, deep-pocket machining, and applications requiring extended reach beyond standard stub or regular-length tooling. The bright uncoated finish is typical for general-purpose use in non-ferrous metals, aluminum, brass, and certain plastics, as well as break-in applications where coating is not specified. Machinists and toolroom operators working in precision job shops, production environments, and prototype facilities will find this tool well-matched to close-tolerance work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-specification solid carbide square end mill for standard CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.2362-inch (6 mm) shank diameter.
This end mill is installed by a machinist or toolroom operator into a compatible collet, end mill holder, or shrink-fit holder sized for a 6 mm (0.2362-inch) shank. Verify shank diameter tolerance compatibility with the holder before seating. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked before changing tooling. Follow shop-standard runout verification procedures after installation to confirm proper seating and minimize tool deflection during cutting.
