The ACCUPRO 12177094 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling operations in metal, composites, and engineering plastics. With a 0.75-inch cutting diameter, a 1.5-inch length of cut, and four spiral flutes ground to a 40-degree helix angle, it delivers aggressive chip evacuation and clean sidewall finishes. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and edge retention needed for high-speed machining on CNC mills and machining centers. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into workpiece material without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Machinists and tool and die tradespeople working in job shops or production environments are the primary users.
This end mill suits general-purpose slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 0.75-inch shank diameter matches ER collet chucks, side-lock holders, and hydraulic chucks in that size range. With a 4.0-inch overall length and no extended reach design, it offers solid rigidity for standard-depth operations. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is the most common orientation for conventional CNC spindle rotation. The uncoated finish makes it straightforward to resharpen when edge wear occurs.
Designed as a standard-shank solid carbide square end mill for use in 0.75-inch ER collet, side-lock, or hydraulic toolholding systems on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer torque specifications for the toolholder in use. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Confirm shank seating depth meets the toolholder minimum engagement requirement to avoid pullout under cutting loads. Inspect the collet or chuck bore for runout before tightening to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
