The ACCUPRO 12176927 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. With a 3/32 inch (0.0938 inch) mill diameter and a 4-flute spiral configuration, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides hardness and edge retention in demanding applications. It features a 30-degree helix angle, right-hand cut, and right-hand flute direction, making it a standard configuration for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Centercutting geometry allows for direct plunge entry. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC technicians in production and job shop environments.
This end mill is suited for slot milling, profile milling, and light plunging in a range of materials including aluminum, steel, brass, and plastics. The regular-length design and 1/8 inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard collets and toolholders used in benchtop CNC routers, vertical milling machines, and multi-axis machining centers. Its uncoated finish is appropriate for applications where coolant is used or where coating would not provide a measurable benefit. The compact 1-1/2 inch overall length (OAL) limits overhang and improves rigidity in tight-clearance setups.
Designed for use with standard 1/8 inch collets and toolholders on vertical milling machines, CNC machining centers, and CNC routers. Mill diameter tolerance is +0.0002 / -0.0008 inches; shank diameter tolerance is -0.0001 / -0.0004 inches.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and powered down before inserting or removing the end mill from the toolholder. Seat the shank to the recommended insertion depth specified by the collet or toolholder manufacturer to prevent pullout under load. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use — solid carbide is brittle and should not be dropped or subjected to side impact.
