The ACCUPRO 120669 is a solid carbide roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built with three flutes, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and an integrated chipbreaker geometry, it breaks chips into smaller segments to reduce heat buildup and cutting forces during heavy cuts. The variable-pitch flute spacing helps suppress chatter and vibration. With a high helix spiral flute design and right-hand cutting direction, it suits high-feed roughing passes on a wide range of workpiece materials. This is a single-end, center-cutting tool intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC milling machines and manual mills.
The 120669 is suited for roughing applications in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. Its 0.75-inch mill diameter and 0.75-inch straight cylindrical shank fit standard ER and side-lock toolholders sized for 3/4-inch shanks. The 1.625-inch length of cut accommodates moderate depth-of-cut passes, while the 4-inch overall length keeps the tool rigid in the spindle. The submicron carbide grade and bright uncoated finish make it appropriate for dry or light-coolant roughing where coating adhesion is not required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use roughing end mill for CNC and manual milling machines accepting a 0.75-inch straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance.
This tool is installed by machinists or toolroom technicians into a compatible milling machine spindle using an appropriate toolholder sized for a 0.75-inch shank. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or drawbar is disengaged before mounting or removing the end mill. Verify toolholder runout before beginning a cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tooling. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool; use flood or mist coolant directed at the cutting zone if required by the application.
