The ABI FOUNDRY 472 is a 6-inch nominal, no-hub, short sweep 1/4 bend fitting designed for drain, waste, and vent (DWV) piping systems. Cast from gray cast iron, this fitting provides a gradual 90-degree change of direction using a long-radius sweep geometry that reduces flow restriction compared to a standard 1/4 bend. The no-hub end style accepts standard no-hub couplings for tool-free connection to matching cast iron pipe and fittings. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this component in below-grade, underground, and above-grade waste and drain piping in residential and commercial construction.
