Product Description

The ABB TQL100R is a NEMA 3R-rated circuit breaker enclosure designed to house residential and light commercial circuit breakers in outdoor or rain-protected installations. Rated at 100 amps, the enclosure is UL Listed and CSA Certified, and it is suitable for use as service equipment. The short circuit rating of the enclosure and circuit breaker combination equals the short circuit rating of the installed circuit breaker. A neutral kit for non-GF applications is included. Licensed electricians install this enclosure as part of branch circuit or service entrance work.

The TQL100R is intended for outdoor applications where protection from rain and weather is required. The NEMA 3R rating makes it appropriate for residential service panels, detached structures, and similar installations where the enclosure will be exposed to the elements. Compatibility

Accepts THQL, TXQL, and THQL-GF breakers in 1-pole, 2-pole, and 3-pole configurations. Note: the enclosure cannot accommodate a 3-pole breaker when an accessory is installed on that breaker.

Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all power sources before servicing or mounting the enclosure. Verify that the circuit breaker frame type and accessory configuration are compatible with the enclosure before installation. Do not install a 3-pole breaker with an accessory in this enclosure, as the enclosure does not have sufficient space for that combination.
