The ABB THQL32030 is a 3-pole, thermal-magnetic circuit breaker rated at 30 amps and 240 volts, built for residential and commercial electrical distribution systems. Part of the Q Line series, it is one inch wide per pole, making it a compact fit for load centers and lighting panels. The breaker carries an interrupting rating of 10 kAIC. Quick-make and Quick-break mechanisms provide consistent overcurrent response, and a visual trip indicator allows technicians to identify a tripped breaker at a glance. Licensed electricians install this device during panel builds, service upgrades, and branch circuit replacements.
The THQL32030 is suited for residential load centers and commercial lighting panels where a compact 3-pole breaker is required. Its thermal-magnetic design responds to both sustained overload conditions and short-circuit faults, protecting downstream wiring and equipment. The breaker can be ordered with auxiliary contact and shunt trip accessories for control and monitoring applications. It is also available for use in HID lighting applications, making it a flexible choice across multiple project types.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fit for Q Line load centers and lighting panels accepting one-inch-per-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breakers in residential and commercial applications.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Always de-energize the panel and verify absence of voltage before handling breakers or bus connections. Confirm the panel is rated for Q Line devices before installing. Do not exceed the breaker ampere or voltage ratings for the intended circuit.
