The ABB thqc2160wl is a two-pole, thermal-magnetic circuit breaker rated at 60 amps and 120/240 volts with a 10kA interrupting capacity. Part of the Q Line product family, it features a compact one-inch-per-pole form factor and a lug-to-lug (lug-lug) terminal configuration that distinguishes the QC series from standard Q Line breakers. The thqc2160wl is designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting, making it well suited for panel builds and enclosure installations where DIN rail infrastructure is already in place. Licensed electricians install this breaker in both residential and light commercial branch circuit applications.
This breaker is appropriate for residential load centers and commercial panelboards where DIN rail mounting is specified. Its thermal-magnetic trip mechanism responds to both sustained overloads and short-circuit events. The QC designation indicates lug-lug termination, which is commonly used in custom enclosures and subpanels. The two-pole configuration makes it suitable for 240-volt branch circuits as well as multi-wire branch circuits requiring common trip protection.
Designed for installation in DIN rail-equipped enclosures and panelboards that accept Q Line series circuit breakers with lug-lug termination. Compatible with standard 35mm DIN rail mounting systems. Available in one-, two-, and three-pole configurations within the Q Line family.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the panel before beginning any installation or removal work. Verify that the enclosure or panelboard is rated for DIN rail-mounted breakers and that the bus or wiring configuration is compatible with lug-lug termination. Do not exceed the breaker's rated ampacity or interrupting capacity for the intended circuit.
