The ABB th3362 is a fusible, heavy-duty safety switch rated for 60 amps at 600 VAC in a 3-pole, 3-wire configuration. Part of the TH Series, it features a quick-make, quick-break mechanism and a handle actuator for reliable disconnection in commercial and industrial power distribution applications. The enclosure is NEMA 1 rated for surface mounting, and the unit carries a 200 kA short-circuit current rating. Conductor terminations are rated for 60/75 degrees C wiring. Licensed electricians perform installation in compliance with the National Electrical Code. The switch is listed to UL Standard 98 and certified to CSA Standard 22.2 No. 4-04 for enclosed and dead-front switches, and meets or exceeds NEMA KS1 requirements for Type HD enclosed switches.
The th3362 is intended for commercial and industrial installations where a reliable, code-compliant fusible disconnect is required. It is suitable for use as service equipment when installed in accordance with the National Electrical Code. The switch operates on 3-phase power at 50/60 Hz and supports up to 15 hp with standard fuses or 50 hp with time-delay fuses, making it appropriate for motor branch circuits, feeder disconnects, and equipment isolation points in industrial facilities and commercial buildings.
Designed as an OEM-style heavy-duty safety switch for 3-phase commercial and industrial distribution systems requiring a fusible disconnect rated at 600 VAC, 60A, NEMA 1 enclosure with surface mounting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the upstream power source before installation or servicing. Verify conductor insulation temperature ratings are compatible with the 60/75 degrees C terminal rating before terminating wiring. Confirm fuse selection matches the load type — standard or time-delay — based on the connected horsepower rating.
