The Abb L-8-40-9-C is an intermediate cable tie made of natural polyamide (Nylon 6.6) for indoor and AH-2 plenum applications. It measures 222 mm (8.74 in) long, 3.6 mm (0.14 in) wide and 1.27 mm (0.05 in) thick, and is rated for continuous use up to 85 °C (185 °F). The tie secures bundle diameters from 0.0625 in to 2 in and has a tensile strength of 178 N (40 lb).
