The ABB A1200HS10SS is a stainless steel slotted strut channel designed for structural support and equipment mounting in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations. The slotted profile accepts standard strut fittings, brackets, and hardware, allowing adjustable positioning along the full channel length. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in wet, outdoor, or chemically exposed environments. This channel is a standard component used by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipe fitters when building support frameworks for conduit, pipe, duct, and mechanical equipment.
The A1200HS10SS is suited for both commercial and industrial installations where corrosion resistance is a priority. Typical applications include pipe and conduit support in mechanical rooms, rooftop equipment mounting, food service or pharmaceutical facilities, coastal installations, and any environment where standard carbon steel strut would be vulnerable to rust or chemical attack. The slotted design allows field-adjustable mounting without additional drilling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation strut channel compatible with standard slotted strut fittings, hardware, and accessories used in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing support systems.
Strut channel installation is typically performed by licensed electricians, plumbers, or mechanical contractors following NEC, IPC, or IFGC support-spacing requirements as applicable. De-energize any nearby electrical systems and shut off fluid systems before beginning overhead or adjacent work. Use appropriate cutting tools for stainless steel when field-cutting to length, and deburr cut ends before installing fittings. Confirm all hardware used is rated and compatible with stainless steel to prevent galvanic corrosion at contact points.
