The ABB 3202 is a straight, thermoplastic connector designed for securing non-metallic sheathed cable and flexible cord through a knockout opening. It fits a 3/4-inch knockout and provides a reliable mechanical connection point in electrical boxes and enclosures. The connector body measures 1-1/2 inches in length and 1-5/16 inches in height, with a 7/8-inch diameter hole. Constructed from non-metallic thermoplastic material, it is corrosion-resistant and lightweight. Licensed electricians and experienced electrically-inclined tradespeople install this fitting during rough-in and finish wiring work on residential and light commercial projects.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial wiring applications where non-metallic sheathed cable or flexible cord must pass through a knockout. It accommodates 8-3 and 6-3 NM cable, as well as combinations of two 14-3, 14-2, 12-2, or 10-2 NM cables in a single connector. It also accepts single and multiple flexible cords within a wire range of 0.500 to 0.850 inches in diameter, making it versatile across common branch-circuit wiring configurations.
Designed for use with 8-3 and 6-3 non-metallic sheathed cable, combinations of two 14-3, 14-2, 12-2, or 10-2 NM cables, and single or multiple flexible cords with an outer diameter between 0.500 and 0.850 inches.
This connector is installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Always de-energize the circuit and verify the absence of voltage before working in any electrical enclosure. Insert the connector body through the knockout from outside the box and secure the locknut firmly by hand before tightening with pliers. Do not overtighten, as thermoplastic fittings can crack under excessive force.
