The ABB 10221539 is a one-hole snap strap designed to secure 3/4-inch EMT conduit to framing, joists, or structural surfaces. Stamped from zinc plated steel, it resists corrosion in typical indoor and light commercial environments. The snap-fit design allows the conduit to seat without requiring a second fastener to close the strap, speeding up installation on runs with multiple support points. At 1.96 inches long and 0.62 inches wide, it fits standard single-hole mounting patterns. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of conduit support systems in residential and commercial rough-in work.
This strap is used wherever 3/4-inch EMT conduit requires intermediate or end support along a run. Common applications include securing horizontal conduit runs to wood or metal framing, supporting vertical risers, and anchoring conduit near panels or junction boxes. It is suited for interior dry and damp locations where zinc plated steel provides adequate corrosion resistance. The one-hole mounting footprint keeps installation fast on repetitive support intervals required by the NEC.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch EMT conduit as an OEM-style support strap. Not rated for rigid metal conduit (RMC) or PVC conduit applications.
Installed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 358 EMT support requirements. De-energize all circuits in the work area before securing conduit near live panels or devices. Use a fastener appropriate to the mounting surface — wood screws for framing, self-tapping screws or anchors for metal or masonry. Do not overtighten the mounting fastener, as this can distort the strap and restrict conduit seating.
