It has a strong, one-piece heavy chipboard frame that prevents corner separation. This filter features spun fiberglass media, designed to capture larger particles like dust and lint. There is no need for a media retainer. Rated at MERV 1-4, it is UL classified and effective for protecting HVAC systems. The filter's nominal size is fourteen inches by eighteen inches by one inch, with an actual size of thirteen and seven-eighths inches by seventeen and seven-eighths inches by three-quarters inch. Recommended changeout is every thirty days. This product comes as a pack of twelve filters.
