The 3M MPP+ Fire Barrier Moldable Putty Pads are a one-part firestop material designed for use in various fire-rated assemblies, especially for protecting electrical boxes. They help in preventing the spread of fire, smoke, and noxious gases. This intumescent material is ready to use in convenient pads that are two point five four millimeters thick and easily molded by hand without the need for mixing or tools. These pads are tested to provide firestop protection for up to four hours.
