Product Description

3M MMM40118X55 is a 401+ high-performance masking tape formulated for paint-masking, high-temperature paint-bake and powder-coating applications. The high-strength crepe-paper backing conforms to irregular surfaces, resists bleed-through from industrial paint systems, and adheres instantly to metal, rubber, glass, plastic and EPDM-type rubber moldings. The solvent-free adhesive removes cleanly in one piece, the tape resists slivering, and it withstands surface temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) for 30 minutes.
