Product Description
The 3M FB-269 is a fire barrier pillow designed for through-penetration firestops and provides up to 3 hours of fire protection. The self-contained intumescent pillow expands under heat to form a hard char that seals against flame, smoke, and toxic gases. It is re-enterable and reusable for new or retrofit installations and does not require wire mesh for installation.
- Dimensions: 2 in (H) x 6 in (W) x 9 in (L); self-contained intumescent construction
- Tested to ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC-S115; UL Classified and ULC Listed for up to 3-hour fire rating
- Graphite-free (non-conductive), no wire mesh required, re-enterable and reusable; density 6 PCF, expansion begins ~200�C
