Donning and fit-checking should follow NIOSH and OSHA guidance for N95 respirators. Power down or shut off dust-generating equipment before donning the respirator in confined spaces when possible. Inspect the respirator for physical damage before each use and replace if the filtering material is soiled, damaged, or breathing resistance increases noticeably. Trade professionals should consult applicable OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection standards for workplace respiratory programs.
