The 3M 8425-8 Cold Shrink Connector Insulator is an open-ended tubular sleeve designed for electrical insulation in high-voltage applications rated up to one kilovolt. It is made from EPDM rubber which provides resistance against ozone, acids, and alkalis. Suitable for solid dielectric insulated wires and cable splices, this insulator can withstand temperatures ranging from minus forty to one hundred ninety-four degrees Fahrenheit. The cold shrink design allows for quick and easy installation without any special tools or heat application.
