The 3M 7100383724 is the Cubitron II Stikit 775L PSA Film Disc Roll, a pressure-sensitive adhesive abrasive disc roll engineered for fine finishing and surface preparation work. It uses 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, a triangular-faceted mineral that slices through substrate material rather than gouging or plowing like conventional abrasives. The result is a disc that cuts faster and lasts significantly longer than traditional abrasive products. Each roll contains 100 discs, and the film backing holds a consistent 3.00 mil thickness for predictable results across the roll. This product is designed for use by finishing technicians, auto body professionals, and industrial surface prep tradespeople.
The 775L disc roll is suited for fine finishing applications where a consistent, refined surface is required. At 500 plus grit, it is appropriate for final sanding passes, scuff sanding between coats, and surface conditioning on painted or primed substrates. The PSA backing allows quick disc changes on compatible backup pads without the need for hook-and-loop systems. It is commonly used in production finishing environments, body shops, and industrial fabrication settings where throughput and finish quality both matter.
Designed for use with 5 inch PSA-style backup pads. Compatible with the 500X hole configuration as specified. Intended as a production finishing disc for applications requiring 500 plus grit abrasive performance on film-backed PSA disc systems.
Installation is performed by finishing technicians or production line operators familiar with PSA abrasive disc systems. Before mounting, ensure the backup pad face is clean and free of adhesive residue to achieve full contact adhesion. Apply firm, even pressure when seating the disc to the pad to prevent edge lifting during use. Do not exceed the RPM rating of the backup pad in use.
