3M 7100311536 Peltor X4P5E helmet attached earmuffs are electrically insulated hearing protection designed for hard hat attachment. They provide a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 25–27 dB depending on attachment type, use slow-recovery high-density foam cushions, and feature replaceable ear cushions and foam liners (hygiene kit HYX4). The low-profile cups with tilting pivot points improve compatibility and sealing for mid- to high-level industrial noise and tasks such as grinding, machine operation, and welding. The assemblies are tested to withstand up to 1.2 kV under dry conditions.
