The 3M 7100303148 is the Aura 9211+ N95 particulate respirator, a flat-fold, three-panel respirator designed for respiratory protection in environments with airborne particulates. It carries a NIOSH-approved N95 rating, meaning it filters at least 95% of airborne particles when properly fitted. The 9211+ features the Cool Flow Comfort Exhalation Valve, which opens to allow warm, moist exhaled breath to escape more rapidly, reducing heat and moisture buildup inside the facepiece. Stapled braided headbands and an adjustable nose clip with integrated nose foam support a secure, customizable fit. This respirator is suited for installation and service trades, construction, and industrial maintenance work.
The Aura 9211+ is used in residential and commercial settings where workers face exposure to non-oil-based particulates such as dust, mold, and other airborne debris. Its flat-fold design allows it to be stored flat and deployed easily on the job site. Each unit is individually packed, making it practical for per-use distribution in a variety of trade and contractor environments. The exhalation valve design is especially relevant for high-activity tasks where heat and moisture accumulation inside a respirator can affect worker comfort and productivity.
Designed as an OEM-style particulate respirator for general industrial, construction, and trade use where NIOSH N95 respiratory protection is required.
Donning and fit-check procedures should follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection program requirements. A proper user seal check must be performed each time the respirator is put on. Workers with facial hair or other conditions that prevent a proper face seal should consult their safety officer regarding alternative protection. Respirators should be replaced when breathing resistance increases, the respirator becomes damaged or soiled, or per employer respiratory protection program guidelines.
