The 3M 7100284215 is a Cubitron II Stikita cloth disc designed for aggressive material removal and finishing on a wide range of substrates. It uses 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, a proprietary ceramic mineral with a triangular profile that slices through material rather than plowing through it. This geometry allows the disc to cut up to two times faster than conventional abrasive discs. The J-weight cloth backing provides tear resistance and flexibility, and a resin bond construction delivers heat resistance during sustained use. A static-resistant, open-coat finish resists loading and helps control dust, particularly on wood surfaces.

This disc is suited for sanding, finishing, grinding, and de-flashing applications across aluminum, fiberglass, gelcoat, hardwood, softwood, metal, and solid surfaces.
