The 3M 7100264314 is a 2-inch diameter quick-change abrasive disc built for high-speed surface conditioning, blending, and finishing work. It uses a non-woven construction loaded with premium ceramic alumina abrasive, which continually fractures during use to expose fresh cutting edges. Rated at 25,000 RPM maximum, the disc attaches via the Roloc TS (Type II) two-lug button system for fast one-handed disc changes. Coarse grade ceramic construction makes it well-suited for aggressive material removal and weld blending on metal surfaces. Licensed HVAC technicians, fabricators, pipefitters, and general metalworkers will find this disc appropriate for prep and surface treatment tasks.
This disc is designed for use on angle grinders, die grinders, and finishing tools equipped with a Roloc TS (Type II) compatible mandrel. It is applied to metal surfaces for weld blending, paint and coating removal, rust treatment, and surface conditioning prior to assembly or coating. The coarse ceramic alumina grade is best suited for aggressive stock removal rather than fine finishing. The 2-inch diameter is practical in tight spaces and on contoured workpieces where a larger disc would be impractical.
Compatible with Roloc TS (Type II) mandrels and holders. Designed for use with angle grinders and die grinders that accept the TS two-lug quick-change system. Not compatible with standard single-lug Roloc mandrels.
Installation and disc changes must be performed with the grinder powered off and fully stopped. Verify the tool spindle speed rating meets or exceeds the 25,000 RPM maximum disc rating before mounting. Use only a compatible Roloc TS (Type II) mandrel to ensure the two-lug locking mechanism seats correctly. Always wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating abrasive tools.
