The 3M 7100225151 is a Green Corps Roloc abrasive disc designed for coarse material removal in collision repair and metal fabrication work. Built around an aluminum oxide abrasive at 40 grit, this disc cuts fast and stays sharp through paint stripping, spot weld grinding, hem flange grinding, and weld dressing. The 3-inch diameter keeps it maneuverable in tight spaces where larger discs cannot reach. The Roloc quick-change attachment system locks the disc securely with a simple quarter-turn twist and releases just as easily, reducing changeover time. Auto body technicians and metal fabricators are the primary users of this disc.
This disc is suited for collision repair shops handling paint removal, rust removal, and weld preparation on automotive panels and structural components. The compact 3-inch format works well around door edges, wheel wells, and frame sections where clearance is limited. It mounts to standard grinders and electric drills using a Roloc-compatible adapter. Color-coded grade identification speeds disc selection when working across multiple grit levels on the same job. This disc is sold individually and is part of a disc family available in 24 to 80 grit and in 2-inch and 3-inch diameters.
Compatible with grinders and electric drills equipped with a Roloc-compatible adapter. Fits the universal Roloc quick-change attachment system used across a wide range of pneumatic and electric rotary tools.
Installation and disc changes should be performed with the tool powered off and air supply disconnected or trigger locked out. Verify the Roloc adapter is fully seated and the disc locks before operating. Do not exceed the 20000 RPM maximum speed rating. Eye protection, face shield, and appropriate respiratory protection are required when grinding or stripping painted surfaces, particularly on older vehicles where lead-based coatings may be present.
