The 3M 7100164062 is a non-insulated block fork terminal designed for crimp-style wire termination in electrical wiring applications. Rated at 600 volts, this terminal accepts a No. 6 stud and provides a secure, low-resistance connection when properly crimped to a conductor. Constructed from copper contact material, it measures 0.65 inches in overall length with a fork width of 0.30 inches and a thickness of 0.03 inches. Electricians and panel wiring technicians use this terminal where a bare, uninsulated fork lug is required for a clean, compact termination point.
This block fork terminal is suited for residential and commercial electrical panel work, control wiring, and equipment grounding or bonding applications where a No. 6 stud connection is required. The non-insulated design is appropriate when a separate insulating sleeve or shrink tubing will be applied after crimping, or where the connection point is housed inside a protected enclosure. The crimp connection type is compatible with standard wire terminal crimp tools used in low-voltage and line-voltage control wiring.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-use crimp fork terminal for No. 6 stud electrical termination points in residential and commercial wiring applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize and lock out the circuit before terminating any conductors. Use a calibrated ratcheting crimp tool sized for the wire gauge and terminal to ensure a gas-tight mechanical connection. Do not re-crimp a terminal that has already been crimped onto a conductor.
