The 3M 7100160237 is an N95 particulate respirator designed for trade and industrial professionals working in environments with airborne particulates from sanding, grinding, sawing, and fiberglass or insulation work. NIOSH-approved to the N95 standard, it filters at least 95 percent of airborne non-oil-based particles. The respirator features 3M patented filter technology engineered to reduce breathing resistance, making it practical for extended use during active tasks. Sold in a pack of 5, this respirator is a direct-use, disposable solution suited for construction trades, HVAC installers, and general contractors handling materials that generate fine dust or fiberglass particulates.
This respirator is appropriate for residential and light commercial jobsite applications involving drywall sanding, fiberglass batt insulation handling, wood sawing, concrete grinding, and similar dust-generating operations. HVAC technicians cutting ductboard or handling fiberglass duct liner will find this respirator a suitable fit-for-purpose option. It is not rated for oil-based aerosols or chemical vapors. Intended for single-use or short-duration task applications where airborne particulate exposure is the primary hazard.
Designed for use in environments with non-oil-based particulate hazards including fiberglass, wood dust, drywall dust, and similar construction and HVAC-related particulates.
Fit testing is required under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 before first use in regulated occupational environments — consult your safety officer or employer respiratory protection program. Inspect the respirator before each use to confirm the face seal and straps are intact. Do not use this respirator in atmospheres that are immediately dangerous to life or health or in oxygen-deficient environments. Dispose of after use or when breathing becomes difficult.
