Built on a flexible, open non-woven web reinforced with resin, the disc delivers consistent cut rates while remaining load-resistant, making it well suited for aluminum and other soft metals in addition to ferrous materials and composites. It operates at a rated speed of 18000 RPM and measures 3 inches in diameter. Licensed metalworkers, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers. The disc handles flat surface prep and moderate edgework without gouging the substrate.
This disc is used in general industrial metal fabrication and maintenance environments where surface conditioning, cleaning, and deburring are required before coating or finishing operations. Its multi-purpose abrasive construction makes it appropriate for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as composite materials. The quick-change attachment system reduces downtime during disc swaps, supporting higher throughput in production and job-shop settings.
