The 3M 7100133987 is a transparent floor aisle marking tape designed to define walkways, work zones, and traffic paths in industrial and commercial facilities. At 24 inches wide and 60 feet long, this roll covers large surface areas without requiring frequent splicing. The plastic construction measures 0.91 mil thick, providing a low-profile installation that resists scuffing from foot traffic and light equipment. An anti-slip surface texture adds traction underfoot, making it suitable for areas where worker safety and floor visibility standards must both be met. It is rated for heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty traffic applications and meets U.S. MIL-PRF-24667C compliance specifications. Installation does not require specialized tools, making this a practical choice for safety coordinators, facilities maintenance crews, and trade professionals marking regulated egress or hazard zones.
This tape is well suited for warehouse floors, manufacturing cells, distribution centers, and commercial corridors where aisle delineation must remain visible without obscuring floor markings already present beneath it. The transparent color allows existing paint lines, labels, or floor graphics to remain legible through the tape. Its wide 24-inch format aligns with OSHA aisle-marking guidelines that call for clearly defined walking surfaces. Both light-duty pedestrian paths and heavier forklift-adjacent zones are within its rated traffic range, giving facilities flexibility in how and where they deploy a single roll.
Designed for application on smooth to lightly textured hard floor surfaces including concrete, sealed concrete, and vinyl composition tile in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings. Part of the 3M 620 Series floor marking tape line.
Surface preparation is critical — floors should be clean, dry, and free of oils or dust before application. A roller or squeegee tool is recommended to press the full 24-inch width firmly and eliminate air pockets. Power down adjacent automated equipment before working in the aisle if applicable. Do not apply to wet surfaces or surfaces that have been recently waxed, as adhesion will be compromised.
