The 3M 7100132652 is a Stikita 426U coated abrasive disc roll designed for high-production sanding environments where consistent fine finishes are required. Each roll packages multiple 5-inch diameter discs with a pressure-sensitive Stikita adhesive backing for fast attachment and clean removal between steps. The abrasive mineral is silicon carbide at 240 grit, suited for finishing passes rather than aggressive stock removal. An anti-load coating combined with open-coat construction resists clogging and extends disc life. The A-weight paper backing flexes to conform to the backup pad surface. Installed by finishing carpenters, cabinet makers, auto body technicians, and surface prep tradespeople.
This disc roll is intended for fine-finish and multi-step sanding applications including white wood sanding, sealer sanding, and solid surface finishing. It also performs well on metal, plastic, drywall, fiberglass, glass, clear coat, and ceramic substrates. The roll format minimizes downtime in production settings by keeping multiple discs organized and immediately accessible at the work station. Minimum order quantity is 6 rolls per unit of measure.
Designed for use with 5-inch backup pads that accept pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) disc systems, typical in random orbital and disc sanders used for wood finishing, solid surface work, and multi-step automotive or industrial finishing applications.
Mounting and removal requires a compatible 5-inch PSA backup pad. Ensure the backup pad surface is clean and free of adhesive residue before applying a fresh disc to maintain proper bond and flat contact. Disc rolls should be stored flat and away from excessive heat or humidity to preserve adhesive performance. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and a dust respirator rated for the substrate being sanded.
