The 3M 7100122432 is a 12-inch diameter deburring disc designed for surface conditioning, light deburring, and finishing work on metal and other hard materials. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive and rated at a maximum of 1900 RPM, this disc mounts via a standard arbor connection through a 3/4-inch center hole. The very fine grade makes it well-suited for final-pass finishing where removing sharp edges or light burrs without aggressive material removal is the goal. At 0.15 pounds, it is lightweight and balanced for consistent contact across the work surface. Machinists, fabricators, and trade professionals performing prep or cleanup work on pipe ends, fittings, or sheet metal components will find this disc fits standard disc finishing equipment.
This deburring disc is intended for use in fabrication shops, mechanical rooms, and field service environments where metal components require edge conditioning before assembly or inspection. Typical applications include cleaning up cut pipe ends, smoothing drilled holes, and removing weld spatter or machining burrs from ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. The arbor mount style is compatible with bench-mounted and portable disc finishing machines that accept 12-inch arbor-mount discs with a 3/4-inch center hole.
Designed for use with disc finishing machines that accept 12-inch arbor-mount abrasive discs with a 3/4-inch center hole. Verify that the host machine RPM rating meets or exceeds the disc maximum of 1900 RPM before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator following the equipment manufacturer instructions and applicable ANSI abrasive product safety standards. Disconnect and lock out power to the finishing machine before mounting or removing the disc. Never exceed the 1900 RPM maximum speed rating marked on this disc. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and do not use a damaged disc.
