The 3M 7100117611 is an N95-rated disposable respirator built for trade professionals and skilled DIYers who need dependable particulate filtration during extended work shifts. Rated by NIOSH for at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against non-oil-based airborne particles and aerosols, it uses Advanced Electrostatic Media to capture fine particles while keeping breathing resistance low. A proprietary Cool Flow exhalation valve reduces heat and moisture build-up inside the facepiece, making it practical for longer-duration tasks. The adjustable M-noseclip allows a firm, custom fit across a range of face profiles, and stretchable braided headbands hold the respirator securely without pressure points. Each pack contains 2 respirators. The design is completely latex-free.
This respirator is suited to a wide range of residential and light commercial applications. Common use cases include sanding bare wood, non-lead painted surfaces, and drywall; grinding; sawing; sweeping; and fiberglass insulation installation. It also provides filtration against pollen, mold spores, and dust particles during outdoor work such as mowing, gardening, raking, and cutting firewood. Occupational use requires a government-regulated respiratory protection program such as an OSHA-compliant program. For non-hazardous environments, it is appropriate for general DIY and maintenance tasks.
Designed as an OEM-style disposable N95 respirator suitable for general construction, maintenance, landscaping, and light industrial environments where protection from non-oil-based particulates is required.
Fit-testing is required under OSHA respiratory protection programs before occupational use. Power down or stop any dust-generating equipment before donning or removing the respirator to avoid exposure during the process. Inspect the noseclip seal and headband tension before each use to confirm a proper face seal. Discard the respirator when breathing resistance increases noticeably, the facepiece is damaged or soiled, or after each work session in hazardous environments.
