The 3M 7100117608 is an N95-rated disposable respirator built for trade professionals working in dusty, particle-heavy environments. Rated by NIOSH for at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against non-oil-based particles and aerosols, it uses Advanced Electrostatic Media to capture airborne particulates while keeping breathing resistance low. A Cool Flow exhalation valve reduces heat and moisture buildup inside the facepiece, making it practical for extended wear on longer jobs. An adjustable M-noseclip provides a secure, custom fit. The respirator contains no components made from natural rubber latex and is designed for single-use disposable service.
This respirator is suited for construction and renovation trades including drywall hanging and finishing, bare wood sanding, non-lead painted surface sanding, grinding, sawing, sweeping, and fiberglass insulation installation. It also filters pollen, mold spores, and dust particles encountered during outdoor maintenance tasks such as gardening, raking, and mowing. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial jobsite use where non-oil-based airborne particles are the primary hazard. For occupational and hazardous environments, use must occur within a government-regulated respiratory protection program such as one compliant with OSHA requirements.
Designed for use in non-oil-based particle environments including drywall, sanding, grinding, sawing, sweeping, and fiberglass insulation installation, as well as outdoor dust exposure scenarios such as gardening and lawn maintenance.
Donning and fit-checking should follow the manufacturer instructions printed on the product packaging before each use. Power down or shut off any machinery generating dust before donning the respirator in confined spaces where particle concentrations may be elevated. For occupational or hazardous applications, use only within a written respiratory protection program meeting applicable OSHA or regulatory requirements — individual fit testing may be required. Dispose of the respirator after each use or when breathing resistance increases, the respirator becomes damaged, or it becomes soiled.
